ABOUT ME
Living the outdoors lifestyle is a passion of mine and my family, we love it. I grew up in a hunting family with strong ties to the outdoors. My earliest memories are riding on my dad's back through the dark Indiana woods chasing our coonhounds.
I am so blessed to be making my living in the outdoors as a outdoor writer and photographer. I also am a Hunters Ed instructor, NBEF instructor, NASP instructor.
I write a monthly column called Women Afield (C) that column for several publications.
My main focus is to promote and encourage families to get outdoors.

Just had to go back out and take some more flower pictures this afternoon because I can not believe it is October 31 and we still have flowers blooming!
Hey buddy! What happened to ya today? Dropped a note and ran! Hope you're doing well. I was gonna ask you about all the usual details. Email tomorrow. We'll chat a bit since I don't have a job to go to! Hehe
Had some fun down on the farm over the weekend! I missed a big doe Saturday evening late because I had to bend around bass akwards from a seated position to try for the tight angling away downhill shot with my bow, but I had to try, she was a big fat doe. She winded me coming in, did an about face and then stopped to look back. Then I almost walked into one of the big bucks as I was walking out in the dark. I didn't see him until he snorted at me! LOL! And I passed on a small cowhorn spike Sunday morning because we're only allowed 1 buck in Ohio and the trail cams definitely indicate I should hold out this year!
Heading down to Southern Ohio early Saturday to hunt a couple days! I'm hoping this big boy comes in bow range! The bucks are starting to get frisky up here!
oh ok...well if u do score him, let me know! Thank ya!! Yeah it was a lot of fun tryin to shoot the Rooster...LOL! I was usin my practice broadheads so I wouldnt mess up my good ones...it was alot of fun...I sure will and u do the same...Take care and Good Luck to ya!!
