Sorry about not getting back to you sooner, deleted your comment by accident , you asked what we were hunting. We were going to hunt for mule deer,we were going to buy left over tags, but now there are none.So we are still making the trip to the mountains to help our buddy who lives there hunt for his deer.I am going to hunt thru a camera lens, taking a movie camera, and regular camera so this will be different. So we will ride around on the atv's and see all there is to see,it is so cool up there.I need to do some more shooting with the bow,so when I get back I can start bow hunting.Later on.

It still sounds like a blast! To me it's just as exciting watchin a good buddy or relative harvest an animal as it is if i was taking it. You oughta have a great time out there. I'm sure you will get some awesome pictures. Post some in your gallery. I'd love to see the country out there! Talk to ya later, and good luck out there!

You can count on the pictures.

Hey how are you doing ? thought I would see what was new with you,and see how your summer was going.Hunting season is just around the corner, still trying to figure out where the summer went.

Hey, good to hear from ya again. Your right, the summer has gone really fast, but I'm not gonna complain about that. I'm ready for huntin season! Doing quite a bit of scoutin right now on my spare time. Not seein near the amount of bucks as I have in past years so we'll see what happens once the season comes around. I'm gettin ready to head back up to the campus. Classes start the 25th. But anyway, how have you been? How's your son doing?

You got that right! It's only a matter of time. How was the reunion?
The reunion was good...more fun than I remembered it being. A bunch if people knew who I was but I didn't have the slightest clue as to who they were. I just did the whole smile and act like you remember them deal. But it was fun to see my cousins and aunts and uncles so I can't complain.

Haha yea, this time of the year it's just too hot. Fall temperatures year round would be nice. Don't get me wrong, I like going to the beach this time of the year but as soon as you get off the beach it's miserable.[/quote

thats for sure!!! The beaches down here aren't so great so when we go up north we make sure we go a few times. We usually drive up so we can go camping on a beach in NC but with gas prices and all the other places we have to go we just decided to fly up instead.

I don't blame ya there. Is gas over $4 down there yet?

Well diesel is $4.79ish and gas is about $3.97. We have one diesel truck and one gas truck so we pretty much just use the gas one. Is it more expensive up there?

Right now it's at $3.99 here. My cousin lives 45 minutes away and it's $4.25 there! so it's just a matter of time till it hits us.

iswhen our gas prices get that high. I was watching this thing on TV the other night(it was from a couple years ago)and they were talking about how gas prices were starting to rise and that they could possibly be up to $2/gallon by that Christmas...I didn't really know what to do except laugh.

Haha, I hear ya there. Two dollars a gallon would be phenomenal! Unfortunately I think those days are over. I can remember gas being like $1.27 /gallon when I was a kid.If we could only have those days back!

Yeah it would! When we first moved to Texas in 2000 it was still $.99/gallon in some places but those days are long gone.

Holy cow! Yea i don't remember it being that low here. I could be wrong but I don't remember. Was it that cheap in Jersey before you left?

Haha yeah it was good while it lasted...but I think it was over a dollar when we left Jersey. It was more expensive up here for a while but then Texas caught up to where its about the same. Gas went down about 5 cents the other day in Jersey so now its about $3.88in some places.

Yup, the same thing happened here. Today it went down to $3.88 at the gas station near my house. I don't know whether its true or not but I heard that they are lettin it down again just alittle before they take it over $4.

Yeah they are cutting them back to make us feel happy and then jack them back up to screw us over. We were up in PA for the reunion and my grandpa would not stop complaining simce it's cheaper in NJ.

What model bowtech do you shoot?

I just got the general. I've owned 4 bowtechs to date and they get nicer and nicer. I went from the Bowtech Justice, to the Mighty Mite, to the Liberty and now the General. It's a sweet bow. Nicest I've ever shot.

Yeah I hope so! We have a family reunion in Shamoken but im not sure what the weather will be like there...supposedly warm so the cooler weather for the wedding will be even better.

Shamokin, PA?? That's only about 45-50 minutes from my uncle's house. We are having a reunion there the 9th of august. And yea, I would count on it being warm! last year it was just a bit uncomfortable, haha.

Yep...that's the place! We have family reunions there every year at some church/park thing..this is the first time we have gone for a couple years so we promised the family we would be up there. Great...go up north to escape the heat and it follows right behind!
That's awesome! We usually do some fishin, shootin the bows, and some sporting clays...it's a blast! Didn't mean to ruin your hopes of some colder weather, haha....I'll pray for a coldfront for ya!
Oh that sounds like fun! It's cool no worries...I hope that coldfront comes through...maybe I'll do a little prayin myself.
