Rock, country, some melow stuff like cool jazz once in a while. Just anything but rap. Oh wait, it said "music." I guess that eliminates rap right there, hey?

Anything by John Eldridge - good for the soul.

Kill it and Grill it by Ted Nugent - good entertainment.

Bowhunting for white tails is my favorite. I also like upland bird hunting and fishing but don't get out and do enough of either one of those. And there's always target shooting -- any kind of target is fun but 3D archery and sporting clays are tops.

Ask me about:
LAKES Chapter MN Deer Hunters Association
Bucks & Buckthorn
Metro Bowhunter Research Base

Not so much. Some hockey games -- GO WILD -- the MN Wild is my favorite hockey team. Some good football -- GO PACK!!!! Cartoons today aint like when I was a kid but Sponge Bob with my kids is fun.

Jesus Christ, my Dad, my kids, George and Gina Darnell, my brother Mike before crack took over his life.

Grute is getting ready for the cabin.

Im 42 goin on 24. Married for over 16 years but with the same woman for over 20. Got 3 kids and am trying to show them some of the good things life has to offer such as hunting, fishing, target shooting. I love 3d archery and sporting clays. Im a member of the Lakes Chapter MN Deer Hunters Association and also Bucks & Buckthorn. I like to take part in the Metro Bow Hunts. Im proud to say I can pass the proficiency test required for the Metro hunts.

Last year my hunts really suffered due to being out of shape. I would get so sweaty going to stand then freeze from being wet. I also had a teeny tiny doe on a deer cart and pulled her to my truck. I looked like I had just jumped in a lake I was so wet with sweat and out of breath -- SHE WAS ON A CART!! I have voewed to get back in shape so that my hunting doesn't suffer like that any more. This year, I plan to run 12 5Ks (one for every month.) Those small 3.5 mile runs will give me a goal to work towards and imporve my health.

Thanks and yes I have hunted Ripley but only once with some poor guidance. The key to Ripley is getting the animal down fast or within sight. There are SOOO many hunters out there that if your animal runs, someone else may try to claim it as theirs. I think its about 2500 hunters each weekend. There are a lot of them; they're thick as Minnesota Skeeters. And some are HUGE!! By coinsidence, I just got an email about it; here's the email I got:

Applications for Camp Ripley archery hunt open July 1 (June 20, 2008)

Bow hunters can apply to participate in the 2008 regular archery deer

hunt at Camp Ripley near Little Falls beginning July 1.
