I'll watch the outdoor shows on VS, Pursuit & Outdoor Channel, the horse shows on RFD TV, Spike, all the UFC & WEC fights when I have to watch TV and can't be outside shooting my bow, working my horses or doing more important things!
HEROES
My wife & kids, Jesus Christ, my parents, and the United States Military!
First & foremost I am a dedicated husband & father. I love my wife & kids beyond measure! I also have an extreme passion for the outdoors, I live to hunt BIG game, waterfowl, & predators mostly. I also love shed hunting, fly fishing, riding & training my horses, camping, pack trips w/my horses, scouting new areas, hanging with my wife & kids, playing softball, basketball, & golf (I'm a 7 handicap) I have fairly recently been screwed by corporate America but I guess I'm okay with it because it wasn't what I loved anyway & it has motivated me to pursue my real passions. Right now I am working hard on an apparel line that most outdoorsman should appreciate and am hoping to have my website completed very soon. I will post an announcement so you all can check it out when it is ready.
hey just got back from the wma last night found some good sheds and my first ever moose shed. a wma is a wildlife manegment area. if you are going this weekend good luck around here the rattlers are starting to come out. i need snake boots.
Hey buddy, stopping in to check on you. Hope life is treating you well. With all the rain and cold hunting turkeys has been a little tough, but still at it. Catch up with you later.
Thanks for stopping in! well, I don't hunt Turkey's but the snow here is making it hard to get my horses up on the mountain chasing after those shed antlers but I'm going in the morning NO MATTER WHAT! LOL! I just hope I don't have a bad wreck on the mountain is all but I guess what don't kill you makes you stronger right? or I could go with my dad's theory.... "it only hurts 'till it feels better son!" ha ha see you around and good luck with the Turkeys!
I would enjoy going out and help shed hunt with you. Let me know if you find any good ones. Any progress on the business end of things? I have been trying to hold up to my promise and pray for you that all would go well. Have a good one catch up later.
Leg is doing good. I am just about to the point where I can put some weight on it and try to walk. I had the broken leg and a badly sprained ankle that they had to put screws in. I hope to be out hiking before too long.
thats great news! I have BIG plans for the next 3 weekends for shed hunting myself so wish me luck! WuhOOO I'm excited!
Good Luck!!! I only wish I could get out there. However, we still have a lot of snow here so I would guess in another 2-3 weeks the antler hunting will be better.
I have picked up probably 30 elk shedz so far this year. . . One cool set!! The bull was a beautiful six point by spike. . . He woulda been 360 if the six was the same on the other side, but he must have broke the skull plate and only grew a spike on the one side, it was probably 50 inches though hahahah
Oh yeah the deer population here in Ohio is incredible and we do have our share of some real bruisers. The only thing i miss is that amazing view of the wasatch mountians that i used to have. Have a great weekend.

Thanks for the request and stop by anytime. How is Utah by the way? I spent about 2 years out there when i was in the air force and loved it.
Utah is an AWESOME state to hunt IF you can draw a limited entry tag. The public ground hunting is ok but hard to kill anything real big but there is always that chance you know how it is, probably the same anywhere you go, either draw a tag, know somebody with private ground, or hope to get lucky and lucky is all I've ever been. I've never drawn a limited tag in my life in any state LOL! I'm sure the hunting is pretty good there in Ohio right? isn't that where a ton of big bucks are taken every year?
I am doing good. Leg is healing fine. I get the two screws out of my ankle on April 1st, I had a broken leg and ankle. I hope to be back doing a little hiking (antler hunting) by about mid April. Thanks for asking.
How did you break it anyway?
I slipped on some ice and fell down some cement stairs. I twisted my ankle under my butt and the torque broke my fibula (the smaller lower leg bone)clear up by my knee. Stupid thing to do. I will be more careful in the future!
