HEROES
My parents are my Heroes. They taught me to hunt,fish and eat wild game since I was little. We grew up camping every year the first 2 weeks of July. Started out with an Army tent and graduated to a pull after camper. Those were the good old days. I still continue all this with my Husband. We have a pop up tent camper and a row boat. We try to get as much in as we can on our days off from work.
FlintlockGirl I'm proud of my Step-son Mike who went into the Army. My prayers are with him and his family while he is in basic training.
ABOUT ME
I enjoy shooting my 50 cal. inline and my flintlock. Also own a 30-30. Just bought a new 22-250, put a 6-24x on it,gonna try out coyote hunting. Love hunting and Fishing. I'm also a Certified Nurses Aid and a Certified Phlebotomist. Work 12 hour shifts. Live on top of a mountain, which I wouldn't trade for anything in the world.

That's the farm I grew up working on down in South Central Ohio. We have watched the deer and Turkey population really grow over the years. We didn't even have turkeys 10 or so years ago and now they're everywhere! and between the 5 or so guys that hunt it, we haven't been killing to many deer either the last few years so there is a bumper crop of deer right now!

Went out to check trail cams over the weekend & saw where we got a couple nice shooter bucks and some nice gobblers in the last 2 weeks off of just 3 cams we put out on one smaller area of the farm! The one gobbler looks like it might even have a double beard! Our bow season opens 9/26 & fall turkey opens 10/10.
