I enjoy the outdoors, taking walks, snow shoeing, and watching the wildlife. I also enjoy photographing and videotaping the wildlife that pass through our backyard.
My favorite relaxing time is sitting outside by the open fire with a cup of coffee/tea and just listening to the sounds of nature.
When Maine winters keep me inside, I am either at the computer or working on a crochet or knitting project. I especially enjoy crocheting warm hats for local charities.

ABOUT ME
Hi there -
I am married, have three grown children and nine growing too fast grandchildren! Must not forget to mention, our 8 year old, German Shorthaired Pointer, Ruger! Ruger is not a hunting dog as he is terrified of loud noises, but he is a great companion and full of personality!
I feel very fortunate to be living where I can fully enjoy my backyard and observe various different wildlife. Although I have done some hunting in the past, I now am just a camera hunter so to speak! Anything moving in my backyard is a target for my camcorder or camera! I also have a couple scouting cameras which are fantastic and supply me with surprise photos!
I sell on eBay and have a site (Maine Backyard Treasures) where I sell various wildlife related gifts and hand crocheted items like hats and scarves. I also have a site where merchandise is available featuring my own backyard photos.
Thank you for the comment on my scouting camera photo. I contacted a Maine Biologist today and he replied that it looked like a Fisher which is in the same weasel family as the wolverine. I am told that Fishers are quite common in Maine. It was a surprise as the first such photo we had gotton on the scouting cameras. Enjoy the rest of your day and upcoming weekend! E-liz
Forgot about the Fisher & I saw one in WI a couple of months ago. Thank you you too!
