Hi, my name is Matt but everyone calls me Woody. In second grade I had a Woody Woodpecker hat if anyone was wondering. In the fall of 2006 I was sitting in my stand thinking about the other properties I hunt and what kind of activity was on them. I just didn't have the time to scout them when I was putting in 60hr a week at work and I didn't want to spend the money on cameras if I couldn't monitor them, so Digital Whitetail Scouting was born. I thought it was going to be easier than it was that's for sure. It took many phone calls to many camera companies before I got in touch with Mark Cuddeback and he gave me my first break, now I deal with Cuddeback, Reconyx & Predator Trailcams. We got started with a few clients in WI and then got some big jobs in IA & MO for customers who just had bought some property and wanted to know what was around. I started contacting real estate agents I thought this would be a great tool for them they could show the quality of animals on the hunting property they have listed. My mistake the agents started making websites and setting up cameras for themselves. In the spring of 2008 I was approached by Reed & Hoppe's Wildlife Food Plots about a partnership. I had been doing food plots for about 7 years on my own property and I was looking to grow into that market. A partnership was formed and we are now one of the largest wildlife & land management companies in the mid west covering WI, MI, MN, IL, IA, & MO. Keith from LAST CALL OUTDOORS will be working KY & TN with us also.
