You bet he was a good one! He's my second biggest now, and I'm wondering if I'll ever top the 05 bird. He was 28 lbs. 13 oz. with 12.5" beard and 1.5" spurs. I'm looking for one that will go 30 lbs for a full strut.....lol

Hey John. Took down a great gobbler on 5/23. He weighed 27 lbs. 1 oz. had 12 3/8" beard, and 1 1/8" and 1 3/8" spurs. Was a great end to a two year dryspell on spring gobblers for me.
