I like everything from Hardcore Bluegrass to rap. Sadly, I can't stomach opera or showtunes.
BOOKS
When I get a second to read, I enjoy history books, mostly US history. I like Native American tales, pirate tales, and NC history as well.
INTERESTS
I've gotten into bow hunting the past 5 years or so. I like fresh and saltwater fishing. I like taking my kid to the park. I like spending time with my wife and my parents. I have a lot of interests, just not enough time for any of them.
TELEVISION
I watch the Disney channel in the morning before work. I work in TV news, so I have to monitor TV's all day long, but nothing specific. I like watching the outdoor channel or Fuel TV when I get a free minute after my daughter's bedtime.
HEROES
My parents are my heroes. They did the best they could with the hand that God dealt them, and I never came close to going hungry. If I'm half as good of a parent as they were, I'll be happy. My wife is my hero, because she puts up with me day after day, and she still likes me sometimes.
I'm just a regular fella who doesn't take himself too seriously. I'm living the American dream with a loving wife, an 18 month-old daughter, a house, and a dog. I love to get in the woods with my dad and do some hunting when I can talk my mom into watching her granddaughter for a few hours(not an extremely difficult task).
Enjoy the time off and don't forget to keep an eye on us here, we are planning something big over the weekend :)
