Oh it was loaded i must of had a bad shell in my gun.
The story is me and my dad decided to setup close to the lake and after we got into our blinds about 30 mins later we heard turkeys gobbling everywhere in front of us and behind us we set there about an hour and i seen a nice tom come in it got about 30-35 yards stopped and went back to the lake.Than about 30 mins later we heard another turkey gobbling it took us about an hour to get the turkey to come in it would go really slow and eat bugs off of the ground so i used my call and got it to gobble when it was about 20 yards to my right.When it was getting closer i got my gun and i touched the blind and the turkey jumped and once the jake got about 15 yards from me i took my safety off and i pulled the trigger and the gun didn't go off the turkey heard the trigger and it ducked.I told my dad that he have to take the shot with his bow but i guess he didn't have a good shot.I hope that next time my shell goes off.I must of had a bad shell.
