When it comes to archery, he is a teenager who stands above the rest with his bow and arrow. Living in Aurora, Indiana, Brandon Anderson found an interest in archery when he was only 13. Now, he is in the hunt for becoming a professional archer by the time he graduates high school.



Brandon Anderson, now 16 years old, has advanced himself tremendously in the past three years. He has been shooting for Freedom Archery for the past two years. In addition, Branderson, as nicknamed by his archery cohorts, has met success in competitions. This success has even been noticed by his hometown newspaper and radio station---referring to him as the “Archery Phenom.”



Brandon’s archery experiences have educated him in areas that he could not have received from a text book or classroom. Archery has taught him patience, endurance, persistence, excellent sportsmanship, loyalty, and integrity. Archery competitions have enable him to travel across the country, meet friendly and interesting people, and advance his shooting skills and techniques.



When asked where he sees himself in the future, Anderson replied he sees himself as a college graduate, a pro-shooter, and an owner of an archery retail business. In addition, Anderson has dreams of producing his own hunting television program. Brandon has several mentors including Jack Jones, 3 time IBO World champion, and Olympic medalist Darrel Pace. Because so many fellow archers are enthused at teaching and advising him, Brandon would like to give back by coaching or instructing beginners and promoting the archery industry.
