ABOUT ME
I am a Marine stationed in Fort Worth Texas. I grew up hunting, but because of the military life 2008 has been my first year of hunting in about 6 years. I spent the last three years in Okinawa Japan, and since I came to Texas I have really gooten into target archery and hunting once again. I like target archery abut as well as anything, but I am always down to go hunting. Its the thrill of the chase more so than anything.
HAHAHAHA So you started a squirrel management program? Keep thinning them out, little bushy tailed rats. Yes Cowtown is over on Silver Creek. Good place to practice, dont really know if the squirrel herd is managable there though.
HAVE GOOD FRIEND,JOE CRAWFORD FT. FIREMAN WHO HELPED ME SET UP MY BOW, HE AND HIS SON SHOOT OUT THERE FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND HIS SON DOES PRETTY GOOD..ALSO OTHER GOOD FRIEND OF MINE HAS A TV SHOW AND HAS TAKEN MY BOW WITH HIM THIS WEEK TO FILM THE FIRST EVER KILL WITH LASER MOUNTED ON MY ALPINE ,ITS SWEEEET.THINK I WILL JOIN COW TOWN WHEN I GET MY BOW BACK ...LOOK FORWARD TO IT...
Right now I have a Mathews Conquest 4 and I shoot over at cowtown bowmen a lot. Ill try to make all their shoots and all the ASA ahoots this year. Just started 3D last year and really got into it. What about yourself? Any target archery?
SHOOTEN A ALPINE SABER- IS MY FIRST BOW, SUPER QUIET,AND I HAVE SHOOT AT 3-D A FEW TIMES AT ARLINGTON BOWHUNTING WORLD..IS COWTOMW THE ONE OF SILVERCREEK ?
HAVE NOT DONE ANY ASA SHOOTS, DO HAVE TARGET IN BACK YARD, AND OFTEN TAKE IT OUT TO BACK SIDE OF BENBROOK LAKE AND SHOOT WITH MY DOG, SHE LIKES TO CHASE SQUERRELS, WE HAVE STARTED A SQURREL MANGENMENT PROGRAM AT THE LAKE..ALSO THINING OUT THE BLACK CROW POPULATION...GOOD TRAINING.....

I only got to hunt one week, but its been great. Got my first bow kill in over ten years. This season is likely over for me, so I am trying to set myself up to hunt alot more over the next year. How about yourself? Any luck?
Dont bow hunt much but have taken 2 nice bucks( 8 pt & a 10 pt) w/ my muzzleloader. Pics are posted in my gallery
