The full moon made us choose THIS week instead of last! LOL Not many people realize how big this effects the movement during the day! Scent free and fingers crossed this week coming! We will be leaving on Saturday morning too,,I guess we will pull out about 4 am,, I think it will take us about 8 hours to get there,,that should put us getting there a little after lunch,, and enough time to make an evening hunt,lol Let me know how you do.
Hey Big Dan,, I know your getting ready for your trip, wanted to stop by and wish you luck,,I'll be leaving on the 7th for Illinois so we will both be hunting next week. I didn't get anything on my Kentucky trip,,the moon was full and i think it had them feeding at night. I did get myself an 8 point after I got home though,,I'm loving this new mathews,lol Anyway,,good luck to you and I'll be waiting to see how you did.

Hey Bow Huntin' Babe, Kentucky, and Illinois? wow! Great! I was born in Kentucky, but have never hunted it. I heard it's the sleeper state. Giants to be taken!? ha ha Hope you're it girl! and I've hunted in Illinois a few times. absolutely love it. Do you mind me asking, with whom? DA Outfitters in Kentucky,, and my Illinois hunt is not with any outfitters,,my son-in-law has been hunting up there with a group of people and were going with him,,I'm not sure about the location but they call it Olive Branch.. And for the record,,i don't usually miss,,just a bad season for me,,didn't practice enough!LOL

I was a Novis too when I started hunting with some of the ladies,,and by no means am I a professional now,,in fact I missed more deer with my bow last year than any other season,LOL but I manage to put two or three on the ground in a season,LOL There's always something to learn out there and I'm all eyes and ears.

I'm loving my bow too,,this is my third bow and first mathews,,don't know what took me so long,LOL but now I finally know what all the fuss is about when they say Mathews,,its the fastest and smoothest bow I've ever shot.
