I am married with three great kids. I am a Physical Education teacher that is very involved in the NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program). Our NASP team is the 3 time defending state champions in Minnesota. I missed out on a lot of outdoors time while I was coaching high school and college baseball and football for 20+ years.
I love to bowhunt and shoot my Ross bow. Sadly enough I am still looking to take my first buck with a bow.
I actually have not had the chance to hunt yet since I started my leave. My 1 year old daughter is a hard charging slave driver! lol.
I plan on actually going predator hunting tonight then starting next week I am going after my buck.
I plan on hunting over food sources since theres still standing corn at some of the places that I hunt so HOPEFULLY I can get it done!
I have some video from hunts but nowhere near what I am looking for yet.
The rest of this season I am not worried about me getting anything on film. I just want to hunt after missing most of the last 8 seasons.
Next year its on though! Filming everything from that point on.

It has been super slow for me too this year. The only deer in bow range was a six pointer that snuck in from behind me at about 5 yards. He was on my left side but I shoot lefty so it was the wrong side.
Here is the kicker though, I was out shooting at a range by the Coon Rapids Dam. There is a hill at the back of the range and it is part of the Coon Rapids Regional Park. I went up on top of the hill to see what was behind and five does were bedded down....about 85 yards from where I was practicing at. Oh well.......

How about you? Are you still filling tags with a bow or are you muzzleloading? I don't mind gun hunters but I hate wearing orange when I am bowhunting.

Thankfully Yes I am!
I went hunting today for the first time in a while but no luck. tomorrows another day though and I am back at it.
