We don't start hunting until the end of October, but all the signs point to a banner year. One of our board members was up a couple weeks back working some fence, and they spotted five good bucks... the smallest was around 24-26 inches.
I was hoping to get up for an early scouting session, but it looks like I'm tied up every weekend right up to the opener!
well you have a field report 4 me blood on your hands weather coolen down there bound to come out.member of are club shot a little forky a zone buck saturday 2 pm and just above all the cabins boy that got them all going good luck persistence allways pays
Well the field report is not to bad but could be better.The guys I hunt with killed 3 bucks.The two big ones came from Chester.(A1 tags)3x2 18 inches and a hog 4x3 22 inches.The third one was a b zone forky 15 inches.The weather was nice for the last weekend of bow season.The deer were up moving around just not in front of me. good luck in the c zone budybob is a friend of mine and shot a monster last year,due you get a b zone tag to?no other zone for me this year just A.got a nice forky opening morning of rifle come over to mi sight and chek it out have a great laborday

Well bow season in the b zone is not going to well its to hot and the deer have moved deep into the canyon.at lest its that way up here were i am at.lots of water and feed so the deer are not have moving far at all.i hope that rifle season is better.
wondering what your recipe is for your deer summer sousage
i buy all my sausage seasonings pre mixed i then add what ever i want to after that cheese jalapinos i then add powdered milk and special meat binder both are from butcher packer supply company stuff as tight as you can get the casing and smoke if you need more info just ask
i hunt some private prop by calistoga and we have another club in boonville,more deer and les presure at the calistoge place thats were i got my buck saturday and that big 4by 3 last year.and lots of national forest up north with good hunting but some stuped people

no 2nd tag this year couse of the baby les my wife gives in but i have allot of meat now so i need to start making my jerky

Got a report yesterday that some bulls were bugling last weekend in northeast Oregon.
Well I am stating off in B zone then going to X6A to finish the year off.
