I'm married to a beautiful lady and we have three wonderful and wild children together. We all enjoy the outdoors. We all try to take several outdoor trips a year together, mostly on the lake somewhere fishing and camping. We also like to go on trail rides through the beautiful mountains that God has blessed us with here. I enjoy fishing and hunting for anything!!! But most of all I love spending time with my family or walking through the mountians on a cold frosty morning.

OK, a little more about me. I was raised in a rural area and often worked on the farm with my Dad and Granddad from a early age. One of the rewards I had growing up was when all the work was done and I was allowed to go to one of our several ponds and catch catfish. My Dad and Granddad also took me hunting with them from a very early age, before I was old enough to even remember. But I had to stay home when they went rabbit hunting because I was too small to keep up with them until I got older.

Now the roles in life have changed. I once was a big duck hunter but the birds just kept getting here later and later every year. Then my Dad retired due to his poor health and decided he would travel the state hunting deer again. So to keep an eye on him I decided to put up the decoys and join a local hunting club so Dad and I could hunt together once more. I am so glad I did this, in the last five years he has killed two deers!! This is a huge deal because he is about half blind and I have to scout real hard to find places that deer will come in close enough for him to see. So to say the least I'm just tickled for him. His eyes have gotten worse so he probably wont ever get another deer but he still likes going just to sit in the mountians to be in Gods country.

All three of my young children like to go hunting with me as well, boy and girls. I try to take them a few times a year with me and they love it!! It really brings joy to me to watch them walk through the woods and take in all the new things to them..... it reminds me of when I was a child walking through the woods with my late Granddad.
