Cervus nippon, an asian variety of elk , a herd of seven were released by scouts on Assateague Is. in 1923 after serving as a fund-raiser petting zoo. That is a NICE One!

Nice bull, I have hunted the Va side and the sika are some of the best eating deer out there. Can cut all of it with a butter knife. I've only shot 2 cows, great job!
