Hello My name is Christine, I'm a 21 year old student, pursuing a nursing degree. I have wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl and I start the Nursing Program at my college next August(aug. 2009) and I really can't wait. I live in a po dunk town about 30 minutes north of tampa (New Port Richey)where I have lived my whole life. My love for the outdoors originated when I was growing up, all of my extended family live in the country and that is where I would spend my summers, playing in the corn field and saining the rivers. I have a family of hunters, but as a little girl I was never allowed to go with them probably because "girls can't hunt" and I would have made too much noise. A little over 2 years ago I met the love of my life Ernie and the day we met I was fishing with my brother (Ernies best fiend), our first date we went fishing and then ate frog legs at a local resturant and on our second date he took me to his hunt camp in Perry Fl. we rode fourwheelers in Steinhatchee, Fl. and then hunted the rest of the weekend. We both had fallen in love! Neither of us looking for love, he had the mind set "why have a girlriend or a wife that will tell you not to do the things you love to do?" Little did he know there was a girl that would'nt say no, but can I come too! We are truly best friends and in the woods is where we LOVE to be.

I hunt deer mostly in Mississippi or in Indiana (where I have family) And at our hunt camp I would take hogs mostly. Unfourtunatly with the outstanding gas prices it is too expensive for us to drive to Perry every weekend or to get back on our hunt camp. Luckily there is some management land not too far from us that I am eager to hunt this fall. I have only harvested one doe and no bucks but I know it takes patience and someday...I have taken a lot of hogs including the one in my pictures. I use a Winchester 30-06 Lightweight, it is my Dad's gun that he killed his first buck with! I have yet to hunt with a bow, I want to up the anti by bow hunting someday.
We eat everything we kill.
