Bowhunting is really all I do and think about. I do pick the banjo on occasion. NO I wasnt in Deliverance! :)

The deer season is almost no-existent here in Southern California, between the Mt Lions and the dry weather...it sucks...Deer deason is now over and this is the 2nd year with no deer...I know alot of gun hunteres that are PISSED to say the least...these are native guys here to Ca, that have been hunteing here for 30+ years (read my blog) you will understand...
Can't wait until I leave California...destination Small town with good hunting & fishing...Not in California...I am a usually a mellow person...but not on this subject...sorry for the rant.

I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. I was at the camp hunting. I passed a good 8 pt cause he was real young. I got poison ivy all over me and am headed to the dr in the morning. Hope you have a great week.

well I got a whopping 2 hours of hunting in. Friggin rain rain rain rain and more rain. all day today tonight and tomorrow. I'm sick of rain !!! lol we need 2 weeks of sun to dry out.
I hear you every since season has opened its rain here so aint got no good hunting weather yet but at least theres time yet

It was just a funny thing we all do for "hump day". My face was red for three hours yesterday morning after I posted it...I'm not that type of person to have stuff like that as my profile pic. Since everybody has already seen it though I put it in my pics.
Man I've been seein a lot of deer none that will get in range for me tho, except opening afternoon I havd 4 bucks walk 15yds from my and let all of them walk hopein a bigger one would show and it never did one of them was a 7pt with about a 16" spread about 160# and I am still kicking my butt for letin him walk, but he kept lookin behind him like there was another one comin and I let him get in some thick stuff b/f I realized nothin was behind him. GOOD LUCK
