AtHomeOutdoors So far only 1.5 yr olds in the woods... going back at it this weekend with some great weather on the forecast!

My name is Jordan and I am starting At Home Outdoors to share my passion for hunting and outdoors sports with others. I eat, sleep, and breathe bow-hunting whitetail deer. My passion for the outdoors is the driving force in my life. I have a mechanical engineering degree from Kettering University and I worked for GM for five years. I left in November of 2008 when the cuts began and here I am, working to build a career surrounding myself in what I love, a romantic dream to chase. I have a beautiful wife Katy and an amazing six month old son Chase. They are my foundation and give me the strength to pursue my happiness. I am working to grow as an outdoor writer and also become a land management consultant. This is my first step on my journey. If you have time, check out my blog at http://www.athomeoutdoorsblog.com and let me know what you think. Thanks!

Thanks for the request. Glad to be friends! I admit I had to google search where West Olive was. How is the deer hunting around there? Looks like you do some great work! Take Care,

Deer hunting around here is actually really good. But I primarily hunt a couple hours north of here. We have property up there and really monitor our deer. Thanks for the comments, I put my heart and soul in every piece. I'll be posting some soon of my award winners, check em out.
Let me know if I can turn your next trophy into an award winner!

Thanks for the request Angie. Glad to be friends! That's so cool that you grew up knowing Fred Bear. What was the best piece of advice he ever gave you?

Thanks!
To feel the spirit of the woods. I live by those words - if you can't feel your surrounding you can't truly appreciate what is going on around you.
Cool site you have too!

Howdy! I'm Brian Denney, a senior guide with Bearpaw Outfitters, We hunt mostly in eastern MT the game seems to be of better quality on that side of the state because of all the private leases we have. I personally guide bear, cougar, whitetail deer, mule deer, rocky mountain elk, merriam's turkey, and shires moose. Join me in the field on the hunt of a lifetime. Simply contact me, Brian Denney directly at (208)852-6495 or just click on the ad below to visit our website

Thanks for the request. Glad to have you as a friend. Your video is pretty sweet man. Is most of your hunting done on public land around Rome? Stay in touch

hey hows it goin. as far as the bucks up here. it all depends on what area you hunt. I've been hunting up here for 3 yrs now and this was the first year i didnt get a buck. For the week of gun hunting I hunted up here, I saw 25 does, but no bucks. I had a lot of sign that they were around there though. I've been using my 99 silverado 1/2ton for muddin
