ABOUT ME
Well I love hunting, bow hunting to be more precise. I have been bow hunting exclusively for about 14 years now. I love it, can't get enough of it. I have a 5 yo daughter that seems to have the same passion for the outdoors that I have. She's ready at any time to go climb up in "her" two man ladder stand and watch for deer. My wife and I celebrated our 15th anniversary this past July and will have been together for 20 years come November. Sadly she does not share my love for the outdoors like I do but she is a real champ when hunting season comes along.
I have been doing good. Very busy, I got a promoted at work and went from a 45-50 hour week to about 55+ hours a week. I just don't seem to have to the time to do much any more. I get to hunt about two times in a weekend at the most. It's usually an evening hunt and one morning hunt. Here lately it's only been an evening hunt. After the New Year things should "I hope" slow down and give me some free time. So how was your Christmas? Mine was great! My daughter Lindsey who is 5, makes Christmas sooo much fun. She woke me up at 5:20 whispering "Daddy wake up. Santa was here and I MUST have been good because he brought lots of stuff I didn't even ask for!" ... lol

Congrats on your promotion! I know how you feel...I find it hard to get hunts in too and usually have to break other engagements to get to go. Girls gotta do what shes gotta do though. I still dont have a deer to my name this year but my son has 2 does and his first buck so I cant really complain.
My husband and I are usually up before the kids on Christmas morning and then we have to go jump in their beds to wake them up. LOL
No luck yet... I spent most of the first season in Tx. It will get better later on.. Maybe you can get that biggun later..Good luck..

Yes and no. I had numerous chances to take a doe but passed because ther was always a buck around and I thought I would get a shot at them. I sat and watch a 120+ class buck and the biggest 4 point I had ever seen for about 30 mins. At one time they we only 25 yards from me but there was to much brush in the way. The 4pt had like 26" beams and 6" brow tines and thats it. The other buck was a large 8 point. One of the biggest bucks I have seen on Eglin. How about yourself?
